Tucker Family Updates

Well it's hard to believe that summer is actually coming to a close fast. This summer has been a blast with the 2 kids. We have went camping and fishing and trips to helper and just hanging out. Cameron has made a lot of accomplishments. He is finally eating and willing to try more things dealing with food and we finally have gotten rid of his baba(bottle). I know it has taken a lot of time to break him of it but we finally did it. I had to tell him that ho ho (santa) told us that a baby elf needed his baba and that ho ho gave me a different big boy cup for him to use. Believe it or not he actually has not needed a baba since last monday. One accomplishment to go many to come...next on the agenda is potty training again!!

Kaylynn is already 6 months old. She is in the 60-70% percentile for weight, height and her head. It's so much different with her than it is and was with Cameron. She is always wanting to be eating her baby food and is always excited to eat. I don't think we will have a problem with her. She is already starting to somewhat crawl and she is sitting up by herself.. its the cutest thing ever to see her try and crawl and instead she leaps basically. My little girl is growing up so fast.

Marcus is finally done with school for now. He graduated in June with a bachelors in accounting. I am so proud of him for going and making his goals and accomplishing them. His one semester he made the Dean's List which is a HUGE accomplishment. And me I not doing anything special, just doing the same things I always have been.

Kaylynn's Blessing and Cameron's 2nd Birthday

I know I'am behind but things are just so crazy raising two kids i never can find the time to do some posting so iam doing it now. On May 2 we blessed Kaylynn. It was a awesome day since Marcus blessed her and everything turned out perfect. My mom made her beautiful dress and blessing blanket and it looked wonderful on her. Here are some pictures from her day. Then this past saturday we celebrated Cameron's 2nd birthday which was May 20. I made him his Cars cake that took me 3-4 hours to do in which he loved it. Iam so thankful for my 2 kids and my wonderful husband. i will upload some pictures of cameron's birthday when i get some time

Marcus Cameron and I welcomed Kaylynn Sue Tucker on February 17,2010 at 8:15am via c-section. She weighed 6lbs 11oz and 21inches basically weighing the same amount that Cameron did. I was really nervous to go back and have a c section since i had a really hard time with recovery with cameron i was expecting the same thing with kaylynn. Thank goodness it wasn't like that at all, this recovery was simple. I was up and walking on my own the first day and walked around the hospital the second day feeling really good. We all were nervous with how Cameron was going to take to her but he did a really good job adjusting to her. He loves to hold her, kiss her and give her hugs. He also gives her her bink when she is crying and also hands us her bottle when he thinks its time to feed her, it really is just soo cute. He sure is a very good and protective brother which is always good to have. Here are some pictures of her when she was born and a couple days after.

Today we went and had an ultrasound and found out we will be having a little baby girl!! Cameron is going to have a little sister and we are so excited. Everything is looking good with her and everything is going smooth with the pregnancy so we are just hoping everything continues going great.

Cameron's 1st Birthday!!

We had a party for him with just our families today and it was awesome. I made the cake which was a mickey mouse clubhouse cake and i think it turned out awesome
Cameron got a lot of clothes and toys for his birthday and boy does he enjoy them all. Well Cameron has made some big changes. He is now taking steps for walking and its soo cute. He knows he can do it and sometimes he walks and sometimes he doesn't. He also has 6 teeth now and man does he know how to use them thank goodness i'm not nursing anymore so WHOO...also we got Cameron his 1 year pictures on monday and i can't wait to see how they turned out.

Cameron 10 Months Old Update

Well Cameron just turned 10 months old on the 20th and man we can't believe how fast he is growing up. He is crawling on all fours now and going so fast that he forgets to go slow and ends up falling over at times. He is still just a little baby though. He is only 15lbs 15oz and just as small as ever. His doctor says she isn't worried about it because i mean look at me umm iam not big at all and either is Marcus. Both our parents said we were the same way being soo little and that we just grew at our own pace. He is going up to everything pulling himself up and learning how to come back down nice and easy and he is also learning how to get into cabinets so thank goodness for Safety 1st kits. I'am already starting to plan his first birthday party which is in less than 2 months. Iam going to try and make his Mickey Mouse birthday cake since he just LOVES Mickey Mouse. But he is such a cutie I don't want my baby to grow up..

First ER Trip

Well last Friday Cameron was starting to come down with something, which we thought was a cold. So Marcus stayed home with him because his mom which watches Cameron had to go to a wedding that weekend in Vegas. So then Cameron was starting to get really congested and just sounded horrible. We put him to sleep in bed with us around 10:30pm only because when Cam is sick I always have him with us just so I can make sure he is still breathing and doing fine. Around 12:30am he woke up screaming and crying and gasping for air. I thought oh no this isn't good. So I woke Marcus up and told him that Cameron isn't sounding right like he is struggling to get air. So we stayed up with him until he was able to calm down and then we would decided what to do from there. I was so freaked out I called my mom at work around 3:30am at the hosiptal and asked her what she thinks we should do. She heard him cough really bad so she said to take him to ER at Primary Childrens. I started crying because this was the first time taking him in for a serious problem. So we got all packed up and got to the ER at Primarys around 4:30am. Luckily we didnt have to wait and we got taken back and Cameron got hooked up to machines to take his vitals and make sure all the was great. Thank goodness it was and the nurse said he thinks that Cameron has the Croup. I was like okay I can handle that I was really scared for RSV and some other bad sicknesses. Then we got taken back into an exam room where we waited about 20 mins for a nurse to come and check on him and then she gave him a steriod medicine to help open his airway back up. Me and Marcus could tell that after a while the medicine was working because he was getting back to his normal self of jumping and giggling and playing. We also sat and watched Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse with him while we were there and waited for more doctors to come in. Finally the doctor came in and explained everything to us and said that he has the Croup and told us that he would be fine in a few days and just make sure he gets his rest. Finally we left the ER around 6:30am and got home to where he was passed out already in the car and we were also ready to finally go back to sleep. Thank goodness it was nothing too serious.

Cameron's First Haircut

Well Cameron got his first haircut on Sunday and he did really good sitting there for a few minutes to get it done. I had Marcus hold him in his lap while i took the pictures since i take so many of them. His hair was getting soo long that it was flapping in the breeze so we decided it was time. So here are some pictures of his haircut.

Well Cameron's First Christmas was a blast..he got sooo spoiled we couldn't believe how much. My mom and dad bought him soo many toys and clothes they packed it all into one huge box filled to the top. Marcus was holding him and i was taking pictures and handed him all his toys and clothes and he look at it and play with them then we would take it away and give him a new one. It took about 15 mins to get through all the stuff he got. I put in a picture of the majority of his toys also. Then my brother Eric got him his own little buggy and he LOVES it, he even puts his hands on the steering wheel and crys if we try to get him out of it. Also Cameron is finally crawling...yes thats right he is crawling..he is getting the hang of it and gets where he wants to go...he kinda skipped the whole sitting up thing because he wants to either crawl or be held to see instead of sitting..he always pushes his legs out to where he can get on his back and crawl...so he is doing it backwards but thats all right as long as he learns!!! Sorry i tried 4 times to get the video of him crawling on here and it just wont work,but i will keep trying.

Cameron's First Halloween

Well yesterday of course was Halloween and it was Cameron's first. Everything was going okay and then he decided that he was way tired and fell asleep. So he slept a good 10 mins like he always does and woke up mad.
We gave him a bottle to calm him down and he did good until we put his costume on then he screamed and screamed...lol..my poor baby didnt want to be dressed up because he was too tired. So i was only able to get a few pictures on halloween and then i got some more today. He was a little spider...his actual costume fit but the head part wouldnt because he still has such a small little head that when we got it on it would always slide down and hide his eyes which he didnt like....

Rolling Rolling and More Rolling

Well a few days ago Cameron learned how to roll over from his back to his belly!!! He has been trying for a 3 weeks to roll over but hadnt figured how to get his arm right and now he has accomplished that. Here is a video of him rolling over today to show mommy and daddy how he does it. And then just a random cute picture of the little guy.

Cameron 4 Months Old and Eating Cereal For The First Time

Well last saturday Cameron turned 4 months old..holy crap how the time goes by so fast. I took him to the doctors on wednesday and he weighs a whopping 11 lbs. 11 oz. He is getting so big i cant believe it. Also at 4 months you get to FINALLY feed your baby more than just a bottle you get to feed him rice cereal..YUMMY...
we fed Cameron last night and it was so funny to watch his reaction towards it all. I put together his highchair and we sat him in it and began to feed him. The majority of it ended up all over his mouth and bib since he is learning how to swallow actual food. Here are a few pics and videos of his feeding....

We went in August to do the Tucker Family pictures and it was a lot of fun. We had Lyndsee's boyfriend Jason's friend do the pictures since he is a photographer. We went to This is the Place Park since our original plan was crushed. LOL...we were supposed to go up into Immigration Canyon but it was soo dry and yucky up there there wasnt any good places to get our pictures done. I think the pictures turned out way good.. oh and by the way Cameron is getting much much bigger. I can't believe he is 2 weeks away from turning 4 months old. I feel like my baby isnt a baby anymore:( he is trying to sit up and when you hold him he is trying so hard to sit alone on your lap. He is constantly trying to get out of the car seat by wiggling and pulling himself up. We all are sooo very proud of him. He sure is our Sweet Little Angel!!!!.

Bee's Game

Last night my family and I decided to go to a bees game. It was Cameron's 2nd time going but the first game he went to he slept through it all,

he was actually awake this time, well the first 2 innings he was. We sat and played and danced with him and making him giggle, then all of a sudden...he fell fast asleep and stayed asleep the rest of the game. It was sooo cute...

Marcus's 23rd Birthday

Marcus turned 23 on August 21 and we went to down visit my parents down in Helper for the weekend and had a blast. For his birthday I had bought him a new cubs shirt and he has always wanted Cameron to match him so I also bought Cameron a matching cubs shirt and a cubs jacket to wear in the winter time.

Then i also made him some cupcakes and shaped them into a 2 and 3 and put 23 candles on them and made him blow them out. Happy Birthday Sweetie!!!

Cameron's Blessing

Cameron was blessed August 3, 2008 by his daddy Marcus. It was so awesome to see Marcus blessing our son. We had both Cameron's grandpas,great grandpa and uncles also bless him too.

As Marcus was blessing him it was amazing because I thought for sure that this day would never come for us and sure enough it was here just like that. After the blessing we had a luncheon with the family at our house and it was a really nice turn out and was a lot of fun.

Cambear Rolling Over and Holding Onto His Toys

Man Cameron is getting so much bigger and stronger each and every day. He rolled over his first time around the time he turned two months old. Both me and marcus couldn't believe that he did it, we laughed and clapped to him and he sat there and smiled. Then a few weeks after he rolled over he started to grasp onto his toys especially his baby keys that my mom gave him. He just loves to shake them and put them into his mouth trying to chew on them. My goodness how they grow up so fast!!!

Camping Up At Skyline Drive

Well for my brothers birthday we went up to skyline drive to go camping. It was of course Cameron's first time going and our 2 dogs Peyton and Swoop's first time also. Oh boy did we have fun. Cameron had a huge blast just looking at the scenery and the dogs had ALOT of fun in the middle of the night barking at nothing. Both me and marcus had to constantly yell at them to shut up which made them bark more. Then marcus took them for a bathroom break in the morning and they had broke their leash into 3 pieces. Luckily that was the last day of camping because those dogs went everywhere.

But we had alot of fun showing Cameron how to camp and we also had fun chasing the 2 dogs all over the place. Its still so much fun watching Marcus fish. He can not stand touching the fish to get the hook out so he just sits there with his foot on the fish and jumps like a little school girl when the fish jumps around.

So of course I had to go over there and really show him how to get the hook out of the fish. Don't worry babe i still love ya. My mom also made the cutest sleeping bag for Cameron to stay warm in...oh my gosh it is sooo cute and it helped keep him snug as a bug.

Cameron Devan Tucker

Cameron Devan Tucker arrived via c-section May 20,2008 at 7:45pm weighing in at 6lbs 13oz and 21 1/4 inches long.
Oh my goodness i didnt know that labor was that bad. I think you dont realize how much pain it is until you go through it. Since i was a week late my doctor told me i was going to have to be induced on the 19th so to come in at 6:30pm to get started. So i went and i have never been more scared of anything in my whole life because i was that much more closer to becoming a mom and there was no turning back. So as the night progressed on i couldnt sleep a wink the nurses kept coming in checking on the baby and checking my vitals and giving me this stuff that i hold against my cheeks and gums in my mouth to see if any contractions would start. When that didnt work they started the pit at 5am and i was so nervous i had heard good and bad about it and wasnt sure about it. But soon after that started i started to feel the contractions and they werent bad at all, i was able to tell when one was starting and when it was ending.
Then my doctor came in at 7am and broke my water and then thats when it all went down hill. I had never felt so much pain in my life. Once my water was broke i felt the contractions intensify and i couldnt take it anymore. I didnt get any sleep when i got there and now having everything happen so fast i couldnt get my mind together and i lost it. I had a feeling to get an epidural so i did. Luckily i did because i was about to end up with one anyways. I went 11 hours into labor with just slowly progressing to a 9 and nothing more. Around 6:30pm my doctor told me that i was going to have a c section because Cameron had turned sunnyside up and that he wasnt going to fit. I. was not happy at that point i just sat and bawled my eyes out and everyone was telling that it was going to be fine. So we went ahead and got rolled down to the OR with marcus and my mom in the OR with me. Slowly but surely they got everything ready and began to get Cameron out. I was completely out of it, i was sooo tired and upset i couldnt even talk. Finally at 7:45pm i heard Cameron's first cry. Oh my gosh my son was finally here..i never ever will forget that cry i then started to cry myself. Marcus held him for the first time and i had never seen him sooo happy well i have i mean the time when we were sealed for time and eternity, but anyways everyone in the families were there to welcome our baby boy Cameron..

Just The 2 Of Us....Or So I Thought...

Well back in September of 07 I had found out that i was pregnant. I couldn't not believe that i was because we had been trying for over a year and a half to get pregnant, so i couldn't believe when i saw the test come out saying PREGNANT!!! I was literally shaking so much i woke marcus up as fast as i could to show him. It was soo funny to see his reaction because he was so out of it and didnt realize that i was telling him we are pregnant. When he finally rubbed his eyes to wake up he saw the test and jumped out of bed and gave me the biggest hug and kiss ever. We couldn't believe it so i took 6 more tests which came out all positive. That morning i called my doctor and they told me to come in and get some blood work done so they can confirm to me that i was. So i did and i had to wait a few days for the results and when i had got them back they told me that i was pregnant and that everything was looking good. So we finally were pregnant and soo excited that we only told our parents and siblings first before saying anything to anyone else because of the fact of my two other pregnancies that i had lost i didnt want to tell everyone the good news then have to tell them bad news. When i went to my doctors they had told me that i was due May 11,2008. When we got home i looked on the calendar to find out which day of the week it was and to my amazment i found out that it was Mother's Day...what a awesome mothers day gift was that our first baby was to be born around mothers day. Everything went really awesome with my pregnancy until Cameron decided that he didnt want to come on mothers day that he wanted to come on his grandpa bogdin's birthday which is May 20...and so the story continues with Cameron Devan Tucker coming into this world....
